Meeting Minutes

Meeting held at Pathfinders: Paul Saunders Home

Meeting came to order at 7:35 PM.

President Andy Todd called Meeting to Order.

Chris Leal attended meeting to see if he would like to become a member.  Gave e-mail address.

Andy stated their may be two more people that he personally knows that may want to join but will most likely want to attend a meeting prior to joining.  Chris Leal stated that he new of possibley two more people that may want to become members as well, they are known by Chris.

Kevin Davis has been ill and is unable to attend for a while.  Our prayers are with him and hope he gets well very soon.

 

Andy is currently looking for a place for the Asphalt Cowboys to have their meetings. He stated that there have been a few people that were unhappy with the meetings being held at the Vice Presidents house of Paul Saunders.  Wants the place he rents to be just an Asphalt Cowboy place.  He is looking into a location at Reno and Chehhall Rd. and old 7-11 building as well as a building over in an industrial area.  Also looking into getting a beer license and whos name to put it under.

Paul to look into who owns the bar at Frisco and 66. Andy did find that information out and was in contact with them about possibley renting that.

Brought up ways for the club to make money to pay the rent on a place. Would like every officer to have a key to the building so it could be open when the person would like.

2nd item.

Weekly Rides. There have been some complaints that the weekly rides have been put together at the last minute. So on alternating weeks it will be on Wednesday and then the next week it will be on Thursday.  So on July 17, Thursday. July 23, Wednesday, July 31, Thursday. August 6 Wednesday.  And so on.  It will not matter where we go. We can all decide at the time of the ride. 

If someone on another day would like to set up a ride they just will need to let everyone know and its not a problem if it is last minute because it will just be as you may say. Spare of the moment ride, and not a weekly ride.

3rd item from Andy is Next month is the clubs 1 year anniversary.  Would like to have a picnic for everyone as well as any of their family and friends they would like to attend.  It will most likely be towards the end of the month.  The details for this will be determined and announced.

Sept. 26-27-28 is the Blues Bikes and BBQ in Fayetteville.  Andy has a cabin up in that area and said anyone who would like to can stay there but it will be first come first serve. You will mostly just need to pay for your own beer, food, etc.  Hoping to leave Friday Morning at 8:00 AM. and it takes about 3 1/2 hours to get their.  Information will be put onto the website.

Paul has found up patches that will run up about 32.00 or 35.00 dollars and that will include the full color patch along with the rockers. This price will most likely include the cost of the shipping.  There will not be a minimum order. 

We will try to have an order ready to place by the next meeting on August 15, 2008.
